Privacy Policy

What this site collects

This site uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages people look at. It sets cookies and sends Google details such as your approximate location, your device and browser, and the pages you viewed. I use it only to understand how the site is used, not for advertising. You can block it with Google's opt-out browser add-on or any content blocker, and the site works the same either way.

There are no forms and no advertising pixels anywhere on this site.

The site is hosted on Microsoft Azure, which keeps standard server logs such as IP address, browser type and the page requested, for security and reliability. Those are governed by Microsoft's own policy and I do not use them for marketing.

When you book

Booking happens on Cal.com and payment on Stripe. You leave this website to do both, and their privacy policies apply to what they collect. What reaches me is your name, your email address and the time you picked.

After you book I email you a contract and a short questionnaire. The questionnaire is only used to prepare for your session, and I do not share it with anyone.

Your photographs

Your gallery is delivered through Pixieset as a private link. Prints are made by me in the studio, so your files are not sent to an outside lab.

The $50 mini-session includes permission for me to use your images in my portfolio and marketing, which is part of what keeps the price where it is. If there are specific images you would rather I did not share, tell me and we will sort it out.

Email to hello@alyssacaplesphotography.com is forwarded through my registrar to my own inbox. I keep client emails so I can find your booking later.

If you want to know what I hold about you, or want it deleted, email me and I will take care of it.
